Services for Martha Adelia Buie Hollingsworth of Natchez were 10a.m., Saturday, Aug. 24, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hollingsworth, 73, died Aug. 22, 2001, of heart failure atNatchez Community Hospital. She was born in Lincoln County on Dec.19, 1927, to William Earnest Buie and Esther Priscella PriceBuie.

She was retired from the Adams County Public Schools, havingtaught for 36 years. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church,where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a member of NatchezEastern Star Chapter 75, Delta Kappa, Daughters of the AmericanRevolution, and the Natchez Garden Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her husband, Homer Hollingsworth of Natchez; herson, Wayne Buie Hollingsworth of Niles, Michigan; her daughter, AnnPrice Hollingsworth of San Antonio, Texas; and seven grandchildren,two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
