Services for Col. Paul G. Polk (ret.) of Prentiss are 1 p.m.,Saturday, Sept. 1, at Mount Carmel M. B. Church with burial in theDennis Griffith Cemetery.
Visitation is today from 1-8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.
Col. Polk, 64, died Aug. 29, 2001, at Forrest General Hospital.He received his B.E.S. degree from Tuskegee Institute in animalhusbandry.
He was a retired colonel with the U. S. Army. He was a member ofthe American Legion MS Chapter #237, 4th Missile BN 28 FieldArtillery, First Calvary Association, Ft. Hood, Texas, andMississippi State Guard. He was a member of Mount Carmel M. B.Church.
Survivors are his wife, Edrice Polk of Prentiss; his daughter,Jeanette Donaldson of Silver Creek; his sons, Thomas Eric andTimothy Edward, both of Los Angeles; his sister, Ordith Newble ofChicago; and four grandchildren.
