Services for Udene Kennedy of Tylertown are 11 a.m., Saturday,Sept. 8, at Enon Baptist Church with burial in Enon Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 1-8 p.m. at Hartman-Hughes Funeral Homein Tylertown and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at thechurch.

Mrs. Kennedy, 80, died Sept. 5, 2001, at Walthall County GeneralHospital. She was born in Tylertown on Dec. 14, 1920, to JohnnyLawrence and Lucy Ethel Lewis Lawrence.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Enon BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HenryShelton Kennedy Sr.; her daughter, Marilyn DeLoeg; and her sister,Margie Rutland.

Survivors are her sons, Shelton Kennedy Jr. of Florence and theRev. Harry Glenn Kennedy of Brookhaven; her daughter, Betty JoanBrown of Ocean Springs; her brother, Johnny L. Lawrence ofHattiesburg; and seven grandchildren and threegreat-grandchildren.
