Services for Mamie Myers of Eddiceton were 11 a.m., Wednesday,Sept. 12, at Eddiceton Baptist Church with burial in EddicetonCemetery. Franklin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Myers, 80, died Sept. 10, 2001, at Franklin MemorialHospital. She was born in Eddiceton on April 6, 1921, to BenjaminGarfield Pickering and Mary Wallace Pickering.

She was a certified nurse assistant and a homemaker. She was amember of Eddiceton Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JackMyers; her son-in-law, and 13 brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her sons, Marvin Myers of McCall Creek and DannyMyers of Hattiesburg; her daughters, Jackie Lacy of Zachary, La.,Audrey Pittman of Laurel, Patsy Murray of Demopolis, Ala., VickiStogner of Watson, La., and Lawanda Evans of Eddiceton; herbrother, Ford Pickering of Satsuma, La.; her sisters, Joyce Cowartof Zachary, La., and Eva Lee of Denham Springs, La.; and 12grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
