Services for Jimmie W. Raney of Wesson are 10:30 a.m., Tuesday,Sept. 18, at Sylvarena Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 6-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. Raney, 73, died Sept. 16, 2001, at his residence. He wasborn in Copiah County on Jan. 2, 1928, to William Purvis Raney andModena Taylor Raney.

He was retired. He was a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his grandson, AvenRaney.

Survivors are his wife, Joyce Raney of Wesson; his sons, BillRaney of West Plains, Mo., and Kelcy Raney of Wesson; hisdaughters, Betty J. Clopton and Ginger Kuhn, both of Biloxi; andhis sisters, Frances Thompson of Houston, Texas, and Sarah Schlegelof Atlanta.
