Services for Curtis Ray Hunt Sr. of Roxie are 2:30 p.m.,Wednesday, Sept. 19, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with burial inHunt Cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 5 p.m. at Tyler FuneralHome.

Mr. Hunt, 56, died Sept. 15, 2001, at Franklin MemorialHospital. He was born in Franklin County on May 2, 1945, to MonroeHunt Sr. and Minnie Jackson Hunt.

He was a retired foreman for District 1 in Franklin County. Hewas a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where he served astrustee and a musician for the Senior Choir.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, JuliusRay, Monroe and Freddie Hunt; and his sisters, Mildred Davis andGladys Middleton.

Survivors are his wife, Aletha Hankins Hunt of Roxie; his son,Curtis Ray Hunt Jr. of Atlanta; his daughters, Veronica Jackson ofColumbus, Ga., and Lisa Hunt and Carrie Elaine Hunt, both of Roxie;his brothers, Rassie Hunt of Bude, Hollis, B. J. and Percy Hunt,all of Roxie, and Robert Lee Hunt of Rochester, N.Y.; his sister,Berdie Mae Brown of Meadville; and a host of nieces andnephews.
