Services for Ella C. Stuart of Hazlehurst are 2 p.m., Wednesday,Sept. 19, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inHazlehurst City Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stuart, 78, died Sept. 16, 2001, at ProfessionalRehabilitation Hospital in Ferriday, La. She was born in Brookhavenon Jan. 9, 1923, to James Cupit and Mattie Coleman Cupit.

She was a cattle farm factory worker for 38 and a half years.She was a member of Pleasant Valley Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, J. G.Stuart.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and WoodyCase of Natchez; her grandchildren, Tammy Mason Grizzle ofLaVergne, Tenn., and Terry Mason of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; and twogreat-grandchildren.
