Ashley Palomarez homered and singled in sparking the EnterpriseLady Yellow Jackets to a 3-1 Monday victory over Natchez Cathedralin girls slowpitch softball action. Enterprise improved to 9-2overall and 4-2 in Division 7-1A.

Winning pitcher Nikki Leggett (9-2) struck out 3 batters andwalked none in the 7-inning shutout.

The Lady Jackets got 2 singles from Kaylin Burke. Providingsingles were Deanna Albritton, Ashley Tate and Breann Laird.

Enterprise, coached by Steve Sasser, took a 1-0 lead in thebottom of the first inning and led 2-0 in the second.

The Lady Jackets play Dexter at Tylertown’s Water Park onThursday. The varsity game starts at 4:30.
