Services for Huey Armond of Brookhaven were 2 p.m. Monday, Sept.17, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Little BahalaBaptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Armond, 66, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2001, at his residence,Haven Hall Nursing Home. He was born in Natchitoches, La., on Jan.1, 1935, to the late Edward and Elizabeth Armond.

He was a former pipeline welder and worked at Royal Maid. He wasa member of Little Bahala Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Naomi Armond;his brothers, Cleveland, Ernest and Billy Wayne Armond; and hisdaughter-in-law, Brenda Castilaw.

Survivors are his wife, Ernestine Castilaw Armond of Brookhaven;his son, Cleveland “Chuck” Armond of Tupelo; his stepsons, JamesRonnie Castilaw and Lonnie Rex Castilaw, both of Wesson; hisstepson-in-law, Ken Cothern of Brookhaven; his stepdaughters,Sheila Cothern of Brookhaven and Dianne Noland of Wesson; hisstepdaughter-in-law, Peggy Castilaw of Wesson; his sister, BeaPenlierty of Oakland, Calif.; and his grandchildren, Tina Lovett ofJackson and Lowell Castilaw and Carthy Castilaw, both ofWesson.
