Services for Leslie Brown of Lorman are 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept.22, at Higdon Methodist Church in Roxie with burial in HigdonCemetery.

Visitation is today from 1-7 p.m. at Rollins Funeral Home Chapelin Fayette.

Mrs. Brown, 92, died Sept. 18, 2001, at Parkview Medical Centerin Vicksburg. She was born in Franklin County on March 14, 1909, toJohn Porter and Elizabeth Cameron.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Higdon MethodistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JamesBrown; her son, Early Lee Vessell; and 10 brothers and fivesisters.

Survivors are her daughters, Ruby Johnson and Carolyn Brown,both of Lorman; her sons, Ralph Cameron of Magnolia, Ben Porter ofFayette, Fred Porter, and Ed Porter; her sisters, Dee Ann Porterand Elnora Porter, both of Chicago, Lee Ann Porter of Convent, La.,and Catherine Porter Wells of Fayette; and nine grandchildren and15 great-grandchildren.
