Services for Rosie Patton Thompson Harrison of Brookhaven are 11a.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, at Kingdom Hall with burial in HillcrestCemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 5 p.m. at WilliamsMortuary.

Mrs. Harrison, 86, died Sept. 21, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 8, 1915, toMarshall Johnson and Lillie Johnson.

She was retired. She was a member of Kingdom Hall.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, EstusPatton, Wiley Thompson, and Willie B. Harrison; her sons, WilliePatton, Clifton Thompson, and Alphonso Thompson; her daughters,Daisy Patton Williams Thompson and Alice Marie Thompson; herbrothers, Willie Johnson and George Johnson; and her sisters,Minnie B. Hooks and Mary Wilson.

Survivors are her sons, Roscoe Mickey Patton, David C. Patton,Edward D. Thompson, Wilford Omar Thompson and Essie Thompson, allof Brookhaven; her stepson, Willie B. Harrison of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Dora Cameron and Patricia Breland, both of Brookhaven;her stepdaughter, Edna Harris Fields of Brookhaven; her sisters,Sallie L. Bates of Chicago and Bonita Johnson of Houston, Texas;and 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and onegreat-great-grandchild.
