Services for Carl E. Kent of Bude are 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept.27, at Bude Baptist Church with burial in Hopewell Baptist ChurchCemetery.

Visitation today continues until 1:30 p.m. at Franklin FuneralHome.

Mr. Kent, 54, died Sept. 25, 2001, at his residence. He was bornin Franklin County on Dec. 3, 1946, to Eugene Kent and Maxie ImpsonKent.

He was a central office technician for Franklin TelephoneCompany with 31 years service. He coached Little League baseballteams for around 30 years. He was a member of Hopewell BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his brother, JimmieNolan Kent.

In addition to his mother; he is survived by his wife, LindaMyers Kent of Bude; and his son, Anthony “Poochie” Kent ofBude.
