Services for the Rev. George Ray McDonald of Brookhaven are10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, at First Church of the Nazarenewith burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

The Rev. McDonald, 77, died Sept. 25, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. He was born in Laurel on Oct. 10, 1923, to GeorgeW. McDonald and Mittie C. Page McDonald.

He was a retired minister with over 30 years in the ministry. Hewas a member of First Church of the Nazarene. He was an Armyveteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his stepson, theRev. Richard Manchester.

Survivors are his wife, Tillie McDonald of Brookhaven; his son,Barry McDonald; his stepsons, Clinton Manchester and AnthonyManchester, both of Decatur, Ala., and James Manchester ofDestrehan, La.; his daughter, Mary Etheridge of Brookhaven; hisdaughter-in-law, Imogene Windmiller of Brookhaven; and a number ofgrandchildren.
