BOGUE CHITTO – Despite making three errors and being outhit13-10, the Bogue Chitto Lady Bobcats held off West Lincoln for akey 3-1 Region 4-1A win Thursday night.

Kia Porter was the winning pitcher and Hanna Roberts was thelosing hurler.

At the plate for Bogue Chitto, Jessica Melton ripped aninside-the-park home run. Meleah Brown and Amber Maldonadocollected two singles apiece. Hitting a single each were RandiMoak, Porter, Tracy Wallace, Amanda Wallace and Marley Porter.

West Lincoln got two singles apiece from Dana King, Holli Bass,Britnee Smith, Christy Lindigrin and Chastity Avants. AmberDelaune, Jennifer Richardson and Roberts singled.

In the junior varsity game, West Lincoln bested BogueChitto 6-2. Alicia Kennedy was the winning pitcher. Kelsey Bass ledthe Lady Bears with two singles.
