Services for Winnie Mae Rich Hennington Smith of Wesson are 10a.m., Thursday, Oct. 11, at Sylvarena Baptist Church with burial inWesson Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Home andThursday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Smith, 85, died Oct. 9, 2001, at Wesley Hospital inHattiesburg. She was born in Pike County on April 30, 1916, toGeorge Henery Rich and Zena Mae Hoggatt Rich.

She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with Copiah-LincolnCommunity College. She was a member of Sylvarena BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband,William H. “Bill” Hennington; her second husband, Mathew B. Smith;her infant son, William Hennington; her brothers, Lester and GeorgeRich; and her sisters, Anabell Hennington and Bertha Alfonso.

Survivors are her son, James Carol Hennington of Wesson; herstepsons, Mathew B. Smith of Walnut Creek, Calif., Jerry P. Smithof New Orleans, and Mark F. Smith of Jackson; her daughter, ZoulaMae Huffman of Hattiesburg; her sister, Mary Nell Douglas ofMadison; and 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
