Services for Olvie M. Whittington of Brandon are 10 a.m.,Saturday, Oct. 13, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Jackson withburial in Terry Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Whittington, 89, died Oct. 9, 2001, at Crossgates ManorNursing Home. She was a native of Harrisville.

She was a seamstress for N&W Overall Factory and had workedat Brown Awning. She was a member of Star Baptist Church.

Survivors are her sons, the Rev. James D. Whittington ofRaymond, Benny Lee Whittington of Anaconda, Mont., and E. E. “Earl”Whittington of Pearl; her sister, Ruby Bracy of Brookhaven; and 13grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
