Services for Aaron Shell Sr. of Roxie are 11 a.m. Monday, Oct.15, at Spring Hill Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Oct. 14, from 5-9 p.m. at Franklin FuneralHome.

Mr. Shell, 82, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001, at Franklin CountyHospital. He was born in Franklin County on Sept. 12, 1919, to thelate Thomas B. and Mary Sue Carney Shell.

He was a retired logger and farmer. He attended Roxie BaptistChurch. He was a veteran of World War II and enjoyed hunting andfishing.

Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, six brothers andtwo sisters.

Survivors are his sons, David Shell of Roxie and Kermit Shell ofGarden City; daughter, Jimmie Mullins of Vicksburg; brother, RoyShell of Knoxville; ten grandchildren; and 11great-grandchildren.
