Services for Vesta Byrd May of Port Gibson are 1 p.m., Saturday,Nov. 24, at Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services at3 p.m. in Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at thefuneral home.

Mrs. May, 92, died Nov. 20, 2001, at Claiborne County Hospital.She was born in Rankin County and lived in Brookhaven andPascagoula before moving to Port Gibson in 1951.

She attended Southern Business College in Vicksburg. She wassecretary to the president of Port Gibson Bank for 25 years. Shewas a member of Port Gibson Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Wayne S. May.

Survivors are her niece, Joy Mohon Durr of Brookhaven; hergreat-nephew, Dean Durr of Waynesboro; and a very special person,Linda Sue Stuart of Port Gibson.
