Services for Winnifred J. Delaughter of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Delaughter, 75, died Dec. 16, 2001, at Forrest GeneralHospital in Hattiesburg. She was born in Warwick, R.I., on May 14,1926, to Joseph Poncelet and Isabella Poncelet.

She was a retired teacher’s aide for Brookhaven Schools.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her sister, MarionDaweker.

Survivors are her daughter, Judy Dunomes of Hammond, La.; herson-in-law, Jewel Dunomes; her sisters-in-law, Pearlie Crane ofBrookhaven and Rosalie Delaughter of Natchez; three grandchildren;and Melvin Delaughter of Columbia.
