Services for Alfred H. “Dutch” Thompson of Bogue Chitto are 11a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at Wellman Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. at Harrigill Funeral Homeand Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Thompson, 87, died Dec. 17, 2001, at Hospice Ministries inRidgeland. He was born in Walthall County on July 17, 1914, toEdmond G. Thompson and Lovie Ritchie Thompson.

He was a retired county worker. He was a member of WellmanBaptist Church. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his wife of 66years, Ina Mae Thompson.

Survivors are his brothers, Estus Thompson of Bogue Chitto andEddie Thompson of Brookhaven; his sisters, Nettie Posey of BogueChitto and Marie Brister of Tylertown; and a host of nieces andnephews.
