Services for Dale Allen Knox Sr. of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.,Friday, Dec. 21, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRiverwood Memorial Park.

Visitation is Friday from 9 a.m. until service time at thefuneral home.

Mr. Knox, 71, died Dec. 17, 2001, of heart failure atTallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kimble, Neb., on Nov.30, 1930, to Inez Norwood Knox and Guy George Knox.

He was an electrical engineer and was retired from PotterCompany. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his son, Guy ElliottKnox; and a brother.

Survivors are his wife, Darleen Elliott Knox of Brookhaven; hisson, Dale Allen Knox Jr. of West Palm Beach, Fla.; his daughters,Virginia A. Lepping of St. Louis, Mo., Kathleen E. Letourneau ofWelling, Fla., and Patrica Inez Methia of New Bedford, Mass.; hisbrother, Guy George Knox Jr. of Oregon; his sister, Sharon Geohringof Hastings, Neb.; and nine grandchildren and twogreat-grandchildren.
