Services for Addie Y. Beard of McComb are 11 a.m. Monday, Dec.24, at Union Primitive Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Dec. 23, from 2-6 p.m. at CatchingsFuneral Home and Monday, Dec. 24, from 9 a.m. until service time atUnion Primitive Baptist Church.

Mrs. Beard, 67, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at her residence.She was born in Pike County on June 20, 1934, to David E. Sr. andFlora Elizabeth Matthews Young.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Union Primitive BaptistChurch in Ruth.

Preceding her in death were her parents; infant sister, DorothyNell Young; and grandson, Teddy Moore Felder II.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Shelia B. and TeddyFelder of Pflugerville, Texas, and Tanya B. and Cliff Danby ofLafayette, La.; brothers and sisters-in-law, David F. Jr. andKittye Young of Starkville, L.G. and Mavis Young of Smithdale andPaul Jones and Pearl Young of Pricedale; sisters andbrother-in-law, Jean Tynes of Tylertown and Martha and KenWhittington of Natchez; grandchildren, Angela Louise Felder andVincent Moore Felder, both of Pflugerville, Texas; and numerousnieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Craig Whittington, Kevin Whittington, DerrickWhittington, Ricky Young, Donnie Tynes and Keith McManus.
