Services for Mildred L. White of Heuck’s Retreat are 2 p.m.Sunday, Dec. 23, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Dec. 23, from 9 a.m. until time of serviceat the funeral home.

Mrs. White, 67, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 12, 1934, tothe late Essie Coleman and Edna Lewis Davis.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Stahl Urban in years past.She was a member of the Brookhaven Chapter of the Order of theEastern Star. She was a member of Heuck’s Retreat BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Troy L. B.White.

Survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law, Troy Mickel andGale White of Brookhaven and Jeffery Glenn and Debi White ofHuntsville, Ala.; brother, Luther E. Davis of Brandon; sister,Lovie Davis Martin of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Lynn Ford andhusband Stephen of Slidell, La., Kristi Bridge and husband Tyler ofBrookhaven, Matt White of Brookhaven and Dustin White ofHuntsville, Ala.; and one great-grandson, Maxwell Ford of Slidell,La.

Pallbearers are Larry Gibson, Kim Bridge, Johnny Hart, BrianTurnage, Jimmy McDaniel and Benton Case. Honorary pallbearers areDavid White, Frank Roberts, Kermit Griffith, Wendall Boyte, WayneWhite and Alvin Smith.
