MCCOMB – The Parklane Lady Pioneers outscored the BrookhavenAcademy Lady Cougars 10-6 in overtime to secure a 53-49 winSaturday night. It was Brookhaven Academy’s first loss of theseason and puts the Lady Cougars at 12-1 on the season.

Anna Gatlin pumped in 13 points to lead Brookhaven Academy to a52-30 win over Central Hinds in a battle of the Lady Cougar teamsFriday night.

Parklane 53, Brookhaven 49

In the OT loss Saturday, Abby Williams fired in 19 points forBrookhaven. Ancy Myers and Gatlin followed with eight points. LeahDavis collected six rebounds followed by Myers with fiverebounds.

Parklane got 15 points from Brooke Currier and 13 points apiecefrom Lucy Savorgnan and Hillary Branch.

Brookhaven 52, C. Hinds 30

Friday night, Myers fired in 10 points and pulled down sixrebounds for Brookhaven. Tops off the backboard was Kelli Byrd witheight rebounds plus five assists.

Ashley Murphy led Central Hinds with 10 points.

Junior high games

Brookhaven Academy’s girls stuff Parklane 37-27Saturday. Kaci Williams led the Lady Cougars with 14 points.Allyson Pickett netted eight points. Anna McDaniel had 10 pointsfor Parklane.

Central Hinds upset Brookhaven 28-26 Friday. EmilyLangely led Brookhaven with seven points. Kaci Williams andMichelle Thibodeaux followed with six points apiece.
