Services for Josephine Frances Parson Sasser of Bogue Chitto are11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, Dec. 30, from 5:30-9 p.m. and Monday, Dec.31, from 8 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sasser, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at King’sDaughters Medical Center. She was born in Harahan, La., on March12, 1923, to Frank and Mattie Mae Moak Parson.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Arlington BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother; a sister;and a grandchild, Casey Lane Sasser.

Survivors are her husband, Wiley Bert Sasser Sr. of BogueChitto; son, Wiley Bert Sasser Jr. of Macon, Ga.; daughters, KayFrances Vinson of Morgan City, La., and Connie Jo Sasser of BatonRouge, La.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
