Services for Robert Rae Hales of Magnolia are 11 a.m., Saturday,Jan. 5, at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel in McComb with burial inBluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Magnolia. The Rev. MikeCarr will conduct the service.

Visitation is Friday from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Hales, 62, died Jan. 1, 2002, at Our Lady of the LakeHospital in Baton Rouge. He was born in Wesson on March 18, 1939,to Ralph Rhymes Hales and Maggie Lee Jackson Hales.

He was a retired crane operator with Gilbert Southern ofGeismer, La.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Annette Rawls Hales of Magnolia; hisbrothers and sisters-in-law, Larry E. and Brenda Hales ofGaryville, La., and Ralph D. and Bridgett Hales of Germany; and hissisters and brother-in-law, Rebecca A. Hales and Janice Leigh andDarrell DeSoto, all of Bogalusa, La.
