Services for Agnes S. Kirby of Meadville are 10 a.m., Thursday,Jan. 10, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in DamascusChurch Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Thursday from 8 a.m. untilservice time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kirby, 80, died Jan. 7, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Franklin County on July 19, 1921, to Robert “Bob” Huffmanand Katie Newell Huffman.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Eddiceton BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husbands, CarlSmith and Jack Kirby; and three brothers.

Survivors are her son, Leroy Smith of Columbus; her daughter,Pat Halford of Eddiceton; her brother, Charles E. Huffman ofNatchez; her sister, Inita Stephens of Crystal Springs; and threegrandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
