Services for William Earl Clyburn of Collins were 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Clyburn, 80, died Jan. 7, 2002, at the State Veterans Homein Collins. He was born in Georgetown on Jan. 19, 1921, to WilliamBenton Clyburn and Emma Bell Clyburn.

He was a retired janitor with Brookhaven High School. He was amember of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran ofWWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Lovida Clyburn of Bogue Chitto; hissons, Steve Clyburn of Monticello, Ricky Clyburn of Lawton, Okla.,and Larry Clyburn of Ft. Worth, Texas; his stepsons, MelvinRatcliff of Florence and Randy Ratcliff of Bogue Chitto; hisstepdaughter, Janet McCullough of Brookhaven; and ninegrandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
