Services for Bobbie W. Winstead of Brookhaven are 10:30 a.m.,Saturday, Jan. 12, at Central Baptist Church with burial inDamascus Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. and Saturday from 8-10 a.m. atBrookhaven Funeral Home.
Mrs. Winstead, 72, died Jan. 9, 2002, at St. Dominic’s Hospitalin Jackson. She was born in Collins on March 24, 1929, to ClaudeWarren and Millie Williamson Warren. She graduated from CollinsHigh School. She attended Clark Memorial Baptist Junior College inNewton, where she met and married Wilson Winstead.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of Damascus BaptistChurch.
“Bobbie loved people and especially children. She was awonderful compliment to my ministry, feeling a call to be apastor’s wife. Many people know Jesus’ love because of her life,”said her husband of 52 years, the Rev. Wilson Winstead ofBrookhaven.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Along with her husband, survivors are her son anddaughter-in-law, Charlie and Sue Winstead of Jackson; her daughtersand sons-in-law, Bobbye and Don Wynn of Natchez, Linda Parman ofPearl, and Betty and Billy Little of Brandon; her grandchildren,Daniel Ashley Wynn, Joy Wynn, Anthony McGraw, Cherie’ McGraw, ZebWinstead, Scott Little and Angela Little; and her niece, Fay Pegramof Collins.
