Services for Annie Bell Brister of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRose Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brister, 87, died Jan. 14, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Dec. 15, 1914, to R. E. Townsend and LulaMason Townsend.

She was employed with Stahl-Urban Company. She was a member ofBrookway Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AltonGeorge Brister; and five brothers and seven sisters.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Glen and ElaineBrister of Brookhaven; her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and JohnWilliams of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Jeffery Glen Brister,Marley Scott Brister, Tammy Smith, and Robin D. Lowry; hergreat-grandchildren, Sammuel Brister, Brandie Brister, ZackBrister, Abigail Brister, Jason Brister, Brandi Case, GregoryNettles, John Justin Williams, and Madison Lowry; and hergreat-great-grandchild, Anabelle Case.
