Services for Annie Bell Brister of Brookhaven were 2 p.m.,Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Brister, 87, died Jan. 14, 2002, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Dec. 15, 1914, to R. E. Townsend and LulaMason Townsend.

She was retired after 32 years with Stahl-Urban Company. She wasa member of Brookway Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AltonGeorge Brister; and five brothers and seven sisters.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Glen and ElaineBrister of Brookhaven; her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and JohnWilliams of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Jeffery Glen Brister,Marley Scott Brister, Tammy Smith, and Robin D. Lowry; hergreat-grandchildren, Samuel Brister, Brandie Brister, ZacharyBrister, Abigail Brister, Jacob Brister, Brandi Case, GregoryNettles, John Justin Williams, and Madison Lowry; and hergreat-great-grandchild, Anabelle Case.
