Services for Christine D. White of Crystal Springs are 2 p.m.,Thursday, Jan. 17, at Stringer Funeral Home Chapel with burial inNew Zion Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. White, 74, died Jan. 15, 2002, at St. Dominic’s Hospital inJackson.

She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church, where she had beena member of the choir and taught Sunday school.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Ray White.

Survivors are her daughter, Jo Anne Slay of Pearl; her sons,Larry Steve White of Borger, Texas, Johnny White of Houston, Texas,and Creston Grady White of Kosciusko; her sister, Elmyra Van Metreof Winnsboro, La., her grandchildren, Clayton Slay of South Riding,Va., Timothy Slay of Brookhaven, and Casey Hinnenkamp of Austin,Texas; and three great-grandchildren.
