Graveside services for Harold W. “Mac” McClelland of BogueChitto were Monday, Jan. 14, at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.The honor guard of the Hogchain Volunteer Fire Department paidtribute to him as part of the services. Rosemont Gardens FuneralHome was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McClelland, 73, died Jan. 12, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center.

He was retired from Haliburton Oil. He was a member of Mt.Moriah Baptist Church. He was a former fire chief for HogchainVolunteer Fire Department.

Survivors are his wife, Barbara McClelland of Bogue Chitto; hismother, Beulah Mae Moncrief; his daughters, Ronda Schillaci ofBaton Rouge and Terry McDavid of Brookhaven; his sister, Ruth MarieSmith of Brookhaven; his grandchild, Sandy Applewhite; and onegreat-grandson, Tay Applewhite.
