Ahem, Senator Lott, don’t forget us over here in SouthwestMississippi!

We are sure it was just an oversight, but comments by the SenateMinority Leader to the Associated Press last week regardingspeculation on possible sites for future carmakers that might cometo the state left us out!

The Senator in his comments mentioned Laurel and Hattiesburg aspotential sites should a suitor come looking. He also mentionedTupelo and Grenada as well. What about us?

We don’t want to appear regionalistic, but Southwest Mississippihas a lot to offer, and so far we have been left out of the Nissaneconomic pie.
