Memorial services for Johnny Douglas Lofton of McCall Creek are10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, at Concord Baptist Church.

Mr. Lofton, 66, died Jan. 31, 2002, at his sister’s residence inBrookhaven. He was born in Franklin County on Aug. 5, 1935, toGeorge W. Lofton and Allie Elizabeth Lewis Lofton.

He was a retired welder. He was a member of the Baptistfaith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sister, Hilda RaySmith; and his brother, Ernest Russell Lofton.

Survivors are his sisters, Faye Bullock of Friendswood, Texas,and Bobbie Porter of Brookhaven; his brother, James Olen Lofton ofSummit; and a host of nieces and nephews.
