Services for Ernest Reeves Jr. of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.,Thursday, Feb. 14, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial inthe church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home andThursday from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Mr. Reeves, 76, died Feb. 12, 2002, at his nephew’s home inBogue Chitto. He was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 30, 1926, toErnest Reeves Sr. and Myrtle Clark Reeves.

He was a retired inspector with the Public Service Commission.He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was a Mason. Hewas a Navy veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and seven brothers andsisters.

He is survived by his sister, Pearl Barron of Smithdale; andnumerous nieces and nephews.
