Graveside services for Leslie A. Carlisle of Brookhaven are 1p.m., Thursday, Feb. 14, at Ben Salem Cemetery in Caseyville.

Visitation is Thursday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. atBrookhaven Funeral Home.

Mr. Carlisle, 74, died Feb. 12, 2002, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. He was born in Lincoln County on Sept. 16, 1927, toJames M. Carlisle and Ada Smithheart Carlisle.

He was retired. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, Solon andMorris Carlisle; and his sisters, Lola Tunick, Ola Mae Coleman,Rhoen Wolfe, and Geraldine Carlisle.

Survivors are his son, Mark A. Carlisle Sr. of Covington, La.;his sister, Sara Elizabeth Fairchild of Brookhaven; his grandchild,Mark Carlisle Jr. of Robert, La.; his nephews, James McNamee, DavidMcNamee, Chad Byrne, and Todd Bracey Calcote; his nieces, KathyThames, Betty Jo Calcote, Ann Goleman, Annah Alyeen Andrews, andKayla Calcote; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
