Graveside services for Betty Graham Ahrend of Pattison were11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in UnionChurch. Harrigill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ahrend, 55, died Feb. 17, 2002, at Central MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Quitman on April 17,1946, to Joshua William Graham and Dorothy Williams Graham.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Forrest Hill MethodistChurch.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband,William R. “Hank” Ahrend of Pattison; her son, Kenny Moody ofJackson; her daughters, Kim Meese Palmer of Wesson and Aimee Ahrendof Pattison; her sister, Alice Rowlanel of Pattison; and hergrandchildren, Samantha Meese, Katelynn Meese and ElizabethMeese.
