Services for Dora M. Laird of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Friday,Feb. 22, at Mt. Zion Church of Christ with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home andFriday at the church from 1 p.m. until service time.

Mrs. Laird, 86, died Feb. 20, 2002, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 22, 1915, to WileyCovington and Cora Hutson Covington.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HiramLaird; and two sisters and three brothers.

Survivors are her sisters-in-law, Lexie Covington, Lavon Laird,and Marie Laird, all of Brookhaven, and Vera Smith of Baker, La.;her brother-in-law, Gus Laird of Brookhaven; and a host of niecesand nephews.
