Services for Fannie Scott of Union Church are 1 p.m., Wednesday,Feb. 27, at Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ inCaseyville with burial in Scott Memorial Cemetery inCaseyville.

Visitation is today from 1-5 p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Scott, 96, died Feb. 20, 2002, at Renaissance Nursing Homein Chicago. She was born in Lincoln County on June 11, 1905, toVersie Thomas and Agnes Thomas.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Triumph the Church andKingdom of God in Christ, where she served as a shepherdmother.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, the Rev.Pearlie Scott; her brothers, John Thomas, Willie D. Thomas, ElijahThomas and Alex Thomas; and her sister, Versie Mae Thomas.

Survivors are her sons, William C. Scott of Kansas City, Kan.,and Robert E. Davenport of Chicago; her daughters, Fannie Bracey ofBrookhaven, and Maggie Smith, Pearline Williams, Gladys Fulton andMargie Austin, all of Chicago; her brother, Winfield Thomas ofCamden, N.J.; and 17 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, andfour great-great-grandchildren.
