Services for Gertie Lucille Wallace of the Montgomery communityare 11 a.m., Saturday, March 9, at Montgomery Baptist Church withburial in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5:30-9 p.m. at Catchings Funeral Homeand Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time.

Mrs. Wallace, 95, died March 7, 2002, at Beacham MemorialHospital in Magnolia. She was born in Lincoln County on Aug. 17,1906, to Tom J. Wallace and Emma B. Brown Wallace.

She was retired from Russell Grocery Store in Summit. She was amember of Montgomery Baptist Church, where she taught Sundayschool.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, MarshallWallace; her stepson, Carl Wallace; her step-grandson, RonnieWallace; her brothers, William Ernest Wallace and Ellis RayWallace; and her sister, Edna Mae Wallace Pope.

Survivors are her stepson, Grover Wallace of Bogue Chitto; herstepdaughters, Bonnie Mae Adams and Nell Gatlin, both of BogueChitto, Magaline Pettigrew of Pearl, and Emma Jean Moak of Summit;her brothers, Clifton E. Wallace of Bogue Chitto and Thomas JewellWallace of Progress; her sister, Lillie Belle McGehee of Summit;and 25 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 18great-great-grandchildren.
