Services for Bracie Case of Houston, Texas, are 10 a.m.,Tuesday, March 12, at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel in McComb withburial in Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Smithdale.

Visitation is today from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 8-10 a.m. atthe funeral home.

Mr. Case, 89, died March 9, 2002, at Cypress Fairbanks Hospitalin Houston. He was born in Lincoln County on April 17, 1912, toTommy Case and Rose Lofton Case.

He was a retired operator with Texas U.S. Chemical Rubber Plant.He was a former member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Mamie Case;his son, Bobby Case; his brothers, Dewey, Butler, Felix and Edgar;and his sister, Grace Smith.

Survivors are his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and RobertMoore of Houston, Texas; his daughter-in-law, Patricia Case ofLucien; his sister, Lexie Tarver of Brookhaven; his grandchildren,Chad Thomson of Magnolia, Texas, and Sherrie Ward, Tina Pierce andRobin Case, all of Lucien; and his great-grandchildren, AshleyThomson, Adriana Thomson, and Carmen Stephens Thomson, all ofMagnolia, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Smith, Jeff Smith, Charles Avery,Leonard Smith, Elmer Tarver, Tracy Case, and Thomas Case.
