Services for Marie B. Hunt of Roxie are noon, Sunday, March 10,at Roxie First Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Mrs. Hunt, 75, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002. She was born inFranklin County on August 29, 1926, to the late Albert Buckles andLetha Brown.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Roxie First BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Richard Hunt Sr.; twosisters, Bertha McCune and Ollie Mae Griffin; her grandson, DetrickMcGee; and her great-granddaughter, Dominique Norman.

Survivors are her sons, Richard and Catherine Hunt of Roxie,Robert and Yvonne Hunt of Atlanta, Ivory and Val Hunt of Atlanta,Danny and Belinda Hunt of Roxie, Richard Norman of Las Cruces,N.M., and Clarence Norman of Atlanta; adopted sons, Marcus Hunt,Alvin Hunt and Corley Hunt of Roxie, her daughters Troy and EdgarDavis of Jackson, Brenda Norman of Atlanta, Lillian and AndrewWatkins of Kenner, La., Darlene Cameron of New Orleans, and ArnettaPickett of Roxie; her adopted daughter, Tashaka King on NewOrleans; her brothers, A.D. Buckles of Roxie, Joe and EvelynBuckles of Gulfport, and Jerry Blackman of Gloster; her sistersMattie Tinner of Gary, IN., Maggie Wilson of Roxie, sisters-in lawRachael Harris of Kirby, Josephine Turner of Port Gibson, andIsolhine Dee of Jackson; her aunt, Mary Brown of Jackson; a Goddaughter Angel Wilson of Roxie; two special children, Milton andSophia Morgan on Miami and Faye Morgan of Roxie, 35 grandchildren,numerous great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives andfriends.
