Mr. Davis, 70, was born in Norfield on Feb. 23, 1932.

Survivors are his wife, Juanita Davis of Gilmer; his sons, JerryDavis of Gilmer and Jimmy Davis of San Antonio; his mother, GenevaDavis of Brookhaven; and five grandchildren.
