Services for Oliver J. Priest Sr. of Roxie are 11 a.m., Tuesday,March 19, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in MidwayCemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Priest, 72, died March 16, 2002, at Franklin CountyHospital. He was born in Copiah County on Feb. 1, 1930, to CliftonPriest and Mattie Wactor Priest.

He was employed with International Paper Mill. He was a memberof Union Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. He was a veteran ofKorea.

Preceding him in death were his father; and his sisters, GertieHancock and Ida White.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Faust Priest; his mother, MattieWactor Priest of Roxie; his sons, Joey Priest of Meadville andBobby Priest of Roxie; his daughters, Hilda Smith of Roxie andNancy Gonsoulin of Natchez; his brothers, Troy Priest of Roxie andJimmy Priest of Natchez; his sisters, Joy Dale Jones of Monroe andLinda Cotten of Meadville; and 10 grandchildren.
