Services for William Lowry Walters of Newton are 10 a.m.,Wednesday, April 3, at Milling Funeral Home Chapel in Union withburial in Newton County Memorial Garden.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Walters, 74, died April 1, 2002, of cancer at Jeff AndersonRegional Medical Center.

He was retired from Newton Company after 43 years of service. Hewas a member of Newton United Methodist Church for over 50 years.He was a member of the Gideons. His wife Evelyn said, “Mr. Waltersgave his life sharing God and his love with others, he was aperfect Christian.”

Survivors are his wife, Evelyn Walters of Newton; his daughterand son-in-law, Shelia and Raymond Boutwell of Brookhaven; his son,Bill Walters of Houston, Texas; his brother, Loyd Walters ofBrandon; and three grandchildren.
