Services for Lubertha F. Porter of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m.,Saturday, April 13, at Mt. Olive M. B. Church with burial in Mt.Olive Cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon through the wake service from 6-7p.m. at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Porter, 99, died April 10, 2002, at SMRMC. She was born inLincoln County on April 16, 1902, to Johnson Fairman and MissouriBlack Fairman. She was a graduate of Alcorn A&M.

She was a retired teacher. She was a member of Norfield BethelBaptist Church, where she served as treasurer and on the motherboard.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, IvoryPorter; her brothers, Otis, Levi, Cleveland, and Prentiss Fairman;and her sisters, Mary Ida Burns, Alma Brooks, Minnie Hankins andBessie Armstrong.

She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
