Services for Anita Day Oberschmidt of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.,Wednesday, April 17, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Heuck’s Retreat Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Oberschmidt, 94, died April 14, 2002, at Silver CrossNursing Home. She was born in Lincoln County on June 30, 1907, toWilliam Henry Day and Cora Knapp Day.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Roy ScottOberschmidt; her brothers, Ted and R. E. Day; and her sisters, EllaDay Burke and Edna Day Pannell.

Survivors are her sons, Roy E. Oberschmidt and Bill Oberschmidt,both of Brookhaven, and Mike Oberschmidt of King George, Va.; and10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and onegreat-great-grandchild.
