Loyd Star cops tennis classic

The Loyd Star Hornet tennis team captured first place in theLincoln County Third Annual Tennis Classic held Friday and Saturdayat the City Courts. Loyd Star finished with a score of 11 pointsfollowed by Bogue Chitto with 10 points and West Lincoln with ninepoints.
Loyd Star won its second straight classic. Bogue Chitto won thefirst one.
West Lincoln and Bogue Chitto join Natchez Cathedral andResurrection Wednesday at Duncan Park in Natchez for the divisionplayoffs. The matches begin at 9 a.m.
