Services for Evelyn Marjorie Osborne of California, and formerlyof Brookhaven, were Feb. 7, 2002, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel inBerkeley with burial in Rolling Hills Memorial Park in Richmond,Calif. Mrs. Osborne died Feb. 4, 2002.

She attended Tougaloo College and taught elementary school.

She was the owner of a real estate business, an income taxservice, and a record store. She worked for the Oakland NavalSupply Center for 25 years. She was a member of Taylor MemorialMethodist Church of Oakland. She was a member of the Order of theEastern Star.

Preceding her in death were her parents; Alex and Lucy TerryPendleton; her brother, Alex; and her sisters, Thelma and OraLee.

Survivors are her daughter, Arlie Taylor of Los Angeles; hersister, Louise B. Lindsay of Berkeley; one granddaughter, onegreat-granddaughter, two nieces, two great-nieces, twogreat-nephews, one great-great-niece; and a host of otherrelatives.
